JUNIOR SALES ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a dynamic enthusiastic Junior Sales Associate to join our energetic London team in preparation for our showroom opening in 2022. The ideal candidate will have at least one previous role within interiors or homewares, a natural flair for customer service and a passion for interiors.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide exceptional service to all clients and customers reflecting the high standards of the brand
  • To build customer retention through excellent relationships
  • To act as an effective channel of communication between the client and Production to ensure that sales are actioned efficiently and orders are fulfilled on a daily basis
  • To help with the day to day responsibilities of maintaining and merchandising a showroom
  • Assisting the brand in achieving sales targets through trade, retail and contract sales
  • Actively searching out and attending customer meetings events, product launches, and exhibitions
  • Informing clients on newness
  • Lead sourcing and lead generation
  • Manage the client order process from initial contact to after sales care including quoting, invoicing through to uploading the paid order on the system and monitoring delivery
  • Upselling
  • Maintaining and fostering relationships with US wholesale clients
  • Establish customer loyalty through brand identification
  • Creating and maintaining a Sales Pipeline through a Database or CRM system
  • Complaint management (follow up, win-win solution)
  • Assisting with the merchandising and look of the future showroom
  • Assisting with the daily responsibilities and requirements of the office/showroom

Skills and Experience:

  • 1 year’s experience in Interior/Homewares working with trade and or retail clients
  • A good team player
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and highly organsied, eager to generate new business and sustain growth for the company
  • Highly customer focused with the ability to build and sustain effective long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Understanding of CRM and customer database and ordering systems would be advantageous, but an intuitive understanding of computer systems would be sufficient
  • Proficient at MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal, written and physical presentation
  • Eloquent and fluent in both written and spoken English

OPERATIONS & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Based in the London Studio

Skills

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable working with processes and systems
  • High levels of attention to detail, meticulous with all work and research
  • Social Media savvy
  • Extremely organised & hardworking
  • Professional telephone manner and comfortable working with both clients and suppliers
  • Must use own initiative and be both confident and proactive

Roles

  • Supporting the Operations Director and helping with the day-to-day running of the company
  • Directly supporting the CEO with day-to-day administration i.e. monitoring emails, phones, filing and expenses
  • Managing the day-to-day housekeeping requirements of the office
  • Assisting with client enquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that emails are responded to within 24 hours
  • Continuously assisting the Vietnam office with stock lists in the US & UK and keeping these updated
  • Managing and updating customer database
  • Creating a monthly newsletter to be sent out to client database
  • Liaising with PR consultant and assisting with PR and marketing strategy
  • Working on relevant proposals and presentations that are required to be sent out for business growth
  • Strengthening the Instagram content and therefore increasing audience engagement
  • Managing and growing The Lacquer Company’s social media outreach
  • Regular updates to website
  • General office admin as assigned
